Т огава Саул каза на Ионатана: Кажи ми какво си сторил. И Ионатан му яви, като рече: Наистина вкусих малко мед с края на тоягата, който имах в ръката си; и, ето, трябва да умра!

And Saul saith unto Jonathan, `Declare to me, what hast thou done?' and Jonathan declareth to him, and saith, `I certainly tasted with the end of the rod that in my hand a little honey; lo, I die!'
