З атова Пилат Му каза: Тогава, Ти цар ли си? Исус отговори: Ти право казваш, защото Аз съм цар. Аз за това се родих, и за това дойдох на света, да свидетелствувам за истината. Всеки, който е от истината, слуша Моя глас.
