З атова така казва Господ Бог на Силите: Люде Мои, които живеете в Сион, Да се не боите от асириеца, Ако и да ви удари с жезъл, И дигне тоягата си против вас Според както я издигна Египет:

Therefore thus saith the Lord God of hosts, O my people that dwellest in Zion, be not afraid of the Assyrian: he shall smite thee with a rod, and shall lift up his staff against thee, after the manner of Egypt.
