К огато стана време за ядене, Вооз каза на Рут: Ела тук и яж от хляба, и натопи залъка си в оцета. И така, тя седна до жътварите; Вооз ѝ подаде печена питка. И Рут яде, насити се и ѝ остана от питката.

And Boaz said unto her, At mealtime come thou hither, and eat of the bread, and dip thy morsel in the vinegar. And she sat beside the reapers: and he reached her parched corn, and she did eat, and was sufficed, and left.
