П реди да ти дам образ в утробата, те познах; и преди да излезеш от утробата, те осветих. Поставих те за пророк на народите.

– Mai înainte să te fi creat în pântecele mamei tale, te cunoşteam, şi mai înainte să fi ieşit din pântecele ei, te pusesem deoparte şi te făcusem profet al neamurilor.
