Т огава Илия му каза: Остани тук, моля, защото Господ ме прати до Йордан. А Елисей отговори: Заклевам се в живота на Господа и в живота на душата ти, че няма да те оставя. И така, отидоха и двамата.

Then Elijah said to him, “I ask you to stay here. For the Lord has sent me to the Jordan.” And Elisha said, “As the Lord lives and as you yourself live, I will not leave you.” So the two of them went on.
