С ега се заклевам в живота на Господа, Който ме утвърди и ме постави да седна на престола на баща ми Давид и Който ми направи дом, както е обещал, днес Адония непременно ще бъде умъртвен.

Now therefore as Yahweh lives, who has established me, and set me on my father David’s throne, and who has made me a house as he promised, surely Adonijah shall be put to death today.”
