И царят попита: Здрав ли е младежът Авесалом? А Ахимаас отговори: Когато Йоав изпрати вестоносец до царя - мене, слугата ти, видях само голямо смущение, но не знаех какво беше.

And the king saith, `Peace to the youth -- to Absalom?' And Ahimaaz saith, `I saw the great multitude, at the sending away of the servant of the king, even thy servant Joab, and I have not known what.'
