Т огава Саул каза на оръженосеца си: Изтегли меча си, та ме прободи с него, за да не дойдат тия необрязани та ме прободат и се поругаят с мене. Но оръженосецът му не прие, защото много се боеше. Затова Саул взе меча си та падна върху него.

Then said Saul unto his armourbearer, Draw thy sword, and thrust me through therewith; lest these uncircumcised come and thrust me through, and abuse me. But his armourbearer would not; for he was sore afraid. Therefore Saul took a sword, and fell upon it.
