З ащото от Господа стана да се закоравят сърцата им та да излязат против Израиля на бой, за да ги обрече <Исус> на изтребление, за да не им се покаже милост, но за да ги изтреби, според както Господ беше заповядал на Моисея.

For it was of Yahweh to harden their hearts, to come against Israel in battle, that he might utterly destroy them, that they might have no favor, but that he might destroy them, as Yahweh commanded Moses.
