М оав е бил на спокойствие от младините си, И е почивал <като вино> на дрождията си; Не е бил претакан от съд в съд, Нито е ходил в плен; Затова вкусът му си е останал в него, И духът му не се е променил.

Secure is Moab from his youth, And at rest he for his preserved things, And he hath not been emptied out from vessel unto vessel, And into captivity he hath not gone, Therefore hath his taste remained in him, And his fragrance hath not been changed.
