п онеже сърцето ти е омекнало, и ти си се смирил пред Бога, когато си чул Неговите думи против това място и против жителите му, и ти си се смирил пред Мене, раздрал си дрехите си, и си плакал пред Мене, затова и Аз те послушах, казва Господ.

Because thy heart tender, and thou art humbled before God in thy hearing His words concerning this place, and concerning its inhabitants, and art humbled before Me, and dost rend thy garments, and weep before Me: even I also have heard -- the affirmation of Jehovah.
