A nd he smote of the men of Beth-shemesh, because they had looked into the ark of Jehovah, he smote of the people seventy men, and fifty thousand men; and the people mourned, because Jehovah had smitten the people with a great slaughter.

L'Éternel frappa les gens de Beth Schémesch, lorsqu'ils regardèrent l'arche de l'Éternel; il frappa soixante-dix hommes parmi le peuple. Et le peuple fut dans la désolation, parce que l'Éternel l'avait frappé d'une grande plaie.
