S o the people sent to Shiloh; and they brought from thence the ark of the covenant of Jehovah of hosts, who sitteth above the cherubim: and the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, were there with the ark of the covenant of God.

Enviou, pois, o povo a Siló, e trouxeram de lá a arca do pacto do Senhor dos exércitos, que se assenta sobre os querubins; e os dois filhos de Eli, Hofni e Finéias, estavam ali com a arca do pacto de Deus.
