B ut David pursued, he and four hundred men; for two hundred stayed behind, who were so faint that they could not go over the brook Besor.

أمّا داوُدُ وَالأربَعُ مِئَةِ رَجُلٍ الَّذِينَ بَقُوا مَعَهُ، فَواصَلُوا مُطارَدَةَ عَمالِيقَ. فقَدْ تَخَلَّفَ مِئَتا رَجُلٍ، كانُوا تَعِبِينَ وَلَمْ يَستَطِيعُوا مُواصَلَةَ السَّيرِ.
