B ut he refused, and said, I will not eat. But his servants, together with the woman, constrained him; and he hearkened unto their voice. So he arose from the earth, and sat upon the bed.

لَكِنَّ شاوُلَ رَفَضَ وَقالَ: «لَنْ آكُلَ.» فانضَمَّ ضُبّاطُهُ إلَى المَرأةِ وَألَحُّوا عَلَيهِ أنْ يَأْكُلَ. وَأخِيراً سَمِعَ كَلامَهُمْ. وَنَهَضَ عَنِ الأرْضِ وَجَلَسَ عَلَى السَّرِير.
