A nd Jonathan spake good of David unto Saul his father, and said unto him, Let not the king sin against his servant, against David; because he hath not sinned against thee, and because his works have been to thee-ward very good:

Vậy, Giô-na-than nói binh Đa-vít cùng Sau-lơ, cha mình, mà rằng: Xin vua chớ phạm tội cùng Đa-vít, tôi tớ vua, vì người không có phạm tội cùng vua, mà lại có giúp công việc lớn lao cho vua nữa.
