A nd Samuel said, As thy sword hath made women childless, so shall thy mother be childless among women. And Samuel hewed Agag in pieces before Jehovah in Gilgal.

Pero Samuel le respondió: «Tu espada mató a muchos israelitas, y sus mujeres se quedaron sin hijos; y así también tu madre se quedará sin su hijo.» Y allí mismo en Gilgal, ante el Señor, Samuel cortó en pedazos a Agag.
