S aul chose him three thousand men of Israel, whereof two thousand were with Saul in Michmash and in the mount of Beth-el, and a thousand were with Jonathan in Gibeah of Benjamin: and the rest of the people he sent every man to his tent.

escogió luego a tres mil hombres de Israel, de los cuales estaban con Saúl dos mil en Micmas y en el monte de Bet-el, y mil estaban con Jonatán en Gabaa de Benjamín; y envió al resto del pueblo cada uno a sus tiendas.
