A nd she went, and came and gleaned in the field after the reapers: and her hap was to light on the portion of the field belonging unto Boaz, who was of the family of Elimelech.

Kështu Ruthi shkoi dhe nisi të mbledhë kallinjtë prapa korrësve; dhe i rastisi të ndodhej në pjesën e arës që ishte pronë e Boazit, i cili i përkiste familjes së Elimelekut.
