Vậy, mỗi người chặt một nhánh cây, rồi đi theo A-bi-mê-léc. Họ dựng sắp nhánh cây đó nơi đồn, châm lửa vào, và thiêu đồn cùng những người ở trong. Như vậy hết thảy những người ở tháp Si-chem, nam và nữ, đều chết, số ước một ngàn.
