A nd Abimelech fought against the city all that day; and he took the city, and slew the people that were therein: and he beat down the city, and sowed it with salt.

Todo ese día Abimelec luchó contra los habitantes de la ciudad, hasta que la tomó y mató a los que aún quedaban; después de eso, asoló la ciudad y la sembró con sal.
