Judges 9:28 ~ Judecători 9:28

A nd Gaal the son of Ebed said, Who is Abimelech, and who is Shechem, that we should serve him? is not he the son of Jerubbaal? and Zebul his officer? serve ye the men of Hamor the father of Shechem: but why should we serve him?

Gaal, fiul lui Ebed, zicea: „Cine este Abimelek şi cine este Şehem ca să-i slujim? Nu este el fiul lui Ierub-Baal şi nu este Zebul reprezentantul lui? E mai bine să slujiţi oamenilor lui Hamor, tatăl lui Şehem! De ce să-i slujim lui Abimelek?
