A nd when the men of the city arose early in the morning, behold, the altar of Baal was broken down, and the Asherah was cut down that was by it, and the second bullock was offered upon the altar that was built.

A la mañana siguiente, cuando todos se levantaron, vieron que el altar de Baal había sido derribado, que la imagen de Asera que estaba a su lado había sido destrozada, y que el segundo toro había sido ofrecido en holocausto sobre el nuevo altar.
