a s also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; wherein are some things hard to be understood, which the ignorant and unstedfast wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.

căci aşa face în toate scrisorile lui, când vorbeşte despre aceste lucruri. În ele sunt lucruri greu de înţeles, pe care cei neştiutori şi nestatornici le interpretează greşit, ca şi pe celelalte Scripturi, spre propria lor distrugere.
