F or if, after they have escaped the defilements of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein and overcome, the last state is become worse with them than the first.

Ведь если они освободились от испорченности этого мира благодаря тому, что узнали Господа и Спасителя Иисуса Христа, а потом вновь оказались опутаны и побеждены этим злом, то их последнее состояние еще хуже прежнего.
