A nd all the people, even the men of war that were with him, went up, and drew nigh, and came before the city, and encamped on the north side of Ai: now there was a valley between him and Ai.

Toţi oamenii de război cari erau cu el s'au suit şi s'au apropiat de cetate; cînd au ajuns în faţa cetăţii, au tăbărît la miază noapte de Ai, de care erau despărţiţi prin vale.
