A nd the bones of Joseph, which the children of Israel brought up out of Egypt, buried they in Shechem, in the parcel of ground which Jacob bought of the sons of Hamor the father of Shechem for a hundred pieces of money: and they became the inheritance of the children of Joseph.

Les os de Joseph, que les enfants d'Israël avaient rapportés d'Égypte, furent enterrés à Sichem, dans la portion du champ que Jacob avait achetée des fils de Hamor, père de Sichem, pour cent kesita, et qui appartint à l'héritage des fils de Joseph.
