N ow therefore give me this hill-country, whereof Jehovah spake in that day; for thou heardest in that day how the Anakim were there, and cities great and fortified: it may be that Jehovah will be with me, and I shall drive them out, as Jehovah spake.

Итак, дай мне эти нагорья, о которых говорил в тот день Господь. Ты сам тогда слышал, что там были анакиты, и города у них большие и укрепленные; может быть, Господь будет со мной, и я прогоню их, как Господь и сказал.
