B y faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, through which he had witness borne to him that he was righteous, God bearing witness in respect of his gifts: and through it he being dead yet speaketh.

Per fede Abele offrí a Dio un sacrificio piú eccellente di quello di Caino; per essa egli ricevette la testimonianza che era giusto, quando Dio attestò di gradire le sue offerte; e per mezzo di essa benché morto, egli parla ancora.
