S peak not thou in thy heart, after that Jehovah thy God hath thrust them out from before thee, saying, For my righteousness Jehovah hath brought me in to possess this land; whereas for the wickedness of these nations Jehovah doth drive them out from before thee.

Quando l'Eterno, il tuo DIO, li avrà scacciati davanti a te, non dire nel tuo cuore: "E' per la mia giustizia che l'Eterno mi ha fatto entrare in possesso di questo paese". E' invece per la malvagità di queste nazioni che l'Eterno le scaccia davanti a te.
