A nd Jehovah said unto Moses, Behold, thou shalt sleep with thy fathers; and this people will rise up, and play the harlot after the strange gods of the land, whither they go to be among them, and will forsake me, and break my covenant which I have made with them.

Allí el Señor le dijo a Moisés: «Tú vas ahora a dormir con tus padres. Pero este pueblo se rebelará y me será infiel con los dioses ajenos de la tierra a la cual van a entrar. Me abandonará y anulará el pacto que he concertado con ellos.
