J air the son of Manasseh took all the region of Argob, unto the border of the Geshurites and the Maacathites, and called them, even Bashan, after his own name, Havvoth-jair, unto this day.)

Jair, figlio di Manasse, prese tutta la regione di Argob, fino ai confini dei Gheshuriti e dei Maakathiti; e chiamò con il suo nome le borgate di Bashan, che anche oggi si chiamano le città di Jair).
