C ursed be the man that maketh a graven or molten image, an abomination unto Jehovah, the work of the hands of the craftsman, and setteth it up in secret. And all the people shall answer and say, Amen.

«Blestemat este omul care-şi face un chip cioplit sau un idol turnat şi-l aşază într-un loc ascuns! Căci o astfel de lucrare a mâinilor acelui meşteşugar este o urâciune înaintea Domnului. » Şi tot poporul să răspundă: «Amin!»
