a nd when they had hoisted it up, they used helps, under-girding the ship; and, fearing lest they should be cast upon the Syrtis, they lowered the gear, and so were driven.

既 然 把 小 船 拉 上 来 ， 就 用 缆 索 捆 绑 船 底 ， 又 恐 怕 在 赛 耳 底 沙 滩 上 搁 了 浅 ， 就 落 下 篷 来 ， 任 船 飘 去 。
