John 7:39 ~ John 7:39

B ut this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believed on him were to receive: for the Spirit was not yet given; because Jesus was not yet glorified.

But He was speaking here of the Spirit, Whom those who believed (trusted, had faith) in Him were afterward to receive. For the Spirit had not yet been given, because Jesus was not yet glorified (raised to honor).
