A nd he charged him to tell no man: but go thy way, and show thyself to the priest, and offer for thy cleansing, according as Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.

Ordenou-lhe, então, que a ninguém contasse isto. Mas vai, disse ele, mostra-te ao sacerdote e faze a oferta pela tua purificação, conforme Moisés determinou, para lhes servir de testemunho.
