B ut he went out, and began to publish it much, and to spread abroad the matter, insomuch that Jesus could no more openly enter into a city, but was without in desert places: and they came to him from every quarter.

Ele, porém, saiu e começou a tornar público o fato, espalhando a notícia. Por isso Jesus não podia mais entrar publicamente em nenhuma cidade, mas ficava fora, em lugares solitários. Todavia, assim mesmo vinha a ele gente de todas as partes.
