T hen Judas, who betrayed him, when he saw that he was condemned, repented himself, and brought back the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders,

فَلَمّا رَأى يَهُوذا الَّذِي خانَ يَسُوعَ، أنَّهُمْ قَرَّروا الحُكْمَ عَلَى يَسُوعَ بِالمَوْتِ، نَدِمَ عَلَى ماَ فَعَلَهُ. فَأعادَ الثَّلاثِينَ قِطعَةً مِنَ الفِضَّةِ إلَى كِبارِ الكَهَنَةِ وَالشُّيُوخِ،
