A nd the ass saw the angel of Jehovah standing in the way, with his sword drawn in his hand; and the ass turned aside out of the way, and went into the field: and Balaam smote the ass, to turn her into the way.

И понеже ослицата видя, че ангел Господен стоеше на пътя с гол нож в ръка, ослицата се отби от пътя и отиваше към полето; а Валаам удари ослицата, за да я оправи в пътя.
