A nd Israel smote him with the edge of the sword, and possessed his land from the Arnon unto the Jabbok, even unto the children of Ammon; for the border of the children of Ammon was strong.

Israel l -a bătut cu ascuţişul săbiei şi i -a cucerit ţara dela Arnon pînă la Iaboc, pînă la hotarul copiilor lui Amon; căci hotarul copiilor lui Amon era întărit.
