A nd wherefore doth Jehovah bring us unto this land, to fall by the sword? Our wives and our little ones will be a prey: were it not better for us to return into Egypt?

Pourquoi l'Éternel nous fait-il aller dans ce pays, où nous tomberons par l'épée, où nos femmes et nos petits enfants deviendront une proie? Ne vaut-il pas mieux pour nous retourner en Égypte?
