R ejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy king cometh unto thee; he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, even upon a colt the foal of an ass.

¡Alégrate mucho, hija de Sión! ¡Da voces de júbilo, hija de Jerusalén! Mira que tu rey vendrá a ti, justo y salvador, pero humilde, cabalgando sobre un asno, sobre un pollino hijo de asna.
