Jonah 1:3 ~ Jonás 1:3

B ut Jonah rose up to flee unto Tarshish from the presence of Jehovah; and he went down to Joppa, and found a ship going to Tarshish: so he paid the fare thereof, and went down into it, to go with them unto Tarshish from the presence of Jehovah.

Y Jonás se levantó para irse a Tarsis y huir de la presencia del Señor. Descendió a Jope, y halló una nave que partía para Tarsis. Entonces pagó su pasaje y, para alejarse de la presencia del Señor, subió a bordo, dispuesto a irse con ellos a Tarsis.
