A nd ye shall take you on the first day the fruit of goodly trees, branches of palm-trees, and boughs of thick trees, and willows of the brook; and ye shall rejoice before Jehovah your God seven days.

În ziua întîi să luaţi poame din pomii cei frumoşi, ramuri de finici, ramuri de copaci stufoşi şi de sălcii de rîu, şi să vă bucuraţi înaintea Domnului, Dumnezeului vostru, şapte zile.
