Leviticus 17:11 ~ 3 Mose 17:11

F or the life of the flesh is in the blood; and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh atonement by reason of the life.

Denn des Leibes Leben ist im Blut, und ich habe es euch auf den Altar gegeben, daß eure Seelen damit versöhnt werden. Denn das Blut ist die Versöhnung, weil das Leben in ihm ist.
