M y God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions' mouths, and they have not hurt me; forasmuch as before him innocency was found in me; and also before thee, O king, have I done no hurt.

O meu Deus enviou o seu anjo, e fechou a boca dos leões, e eles não me fizeram mal algum; porque foi achada em mim inocência diante dele; e também diante de ti, ó rei, não tenho cometido delito algum.
