N ebuchadnezzar spake and said, Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, who hath sent his angel, and delivered his servants that trusted in him, and have changed the king's word, and have yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god, except their own God.

Nebukadnetsari filloi të thotë: "Qoftë i bekuar Perëndia i Shadrakut, i Meshakut dhe i Abed-negos, që ka dërguar engjëllin e tij dhe ka çliruar shërbëtorët e tij, që kanë pasur besim tek ai; ata kanë shkelur urdhrin e mbretit dhe ia kanë ekspozuar trupin e tyre vdekjes, në vend që të shërbenin dhe të adhuronin tjetër perëndi përveç së tyres.
