T herefore because the king's commandment was urgent, and the furnace exceeding hot, the flame of the fire slew those men that took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego.

denn des Königs Gebot mußte man eilends tun. Und man schürte das Feuer im Ofen so sehr, daß die Männer, so den Sadrach, Mesach und Abed-Nego hinaufbrachten, verdarben von des Feuers Flammen.
