A nd Daniel requested of the king, and he appointed Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, over the affairs of the province of Babylon: but Daniel was in the gate of the king.

Und Daniel bat vom König, daß er über die Ämter der Landschaft Babel setzen möchte Sadrach, Mesach und Abed-Nego; und er, Daniel blieb bei dem König am Hofe.
